LkSG today.CSDDD next.CBAM now.One supplier file.
Suppliers enter their data once. Compass turns it into the questionnaire for your risk analysis, the CBAM emission values for your declaration and the origin data for EUDR. One file, released by the supplier, reusable for every customer.

Every customer asks differently. Suppliers start from zero every time.
A fastener maker in Türkiye ships to four customers in Germany. One sends an LkSG questionnaire in Excel. One needs embedded emissions per product for CBAM. One prepares for CSDDD and asks about the grievance procedure. One needs plot coordinates for natural rubber under EUDR.
The answers overlap: sites, products, energy, upstream suppliers, working conditions. Yet each request starts by email, with its own form and its own deadline.
For buyers that means slow returns, inconsistent data and, for CBAM, default values that cost more than the real emissions. For suppliers it means duplicate work and the risk of looking like a difficult partner.
Compass turns it around. The supplier keeps one file. Each customer gets what their law requires, in their format.
How Compass works.
Four views from the product. All companies and values are sample data.

A questionnaire your supplier understands.
You invite, the supplier answers in their language. Every question names its legal basis, every answer can carry evidence. Answers flow straight into the risk rating.

From the energy bill to the communication template.
The supplier records installation, route, fuels, electricity and precursors. Compass calculates specific embedded emissions per tonne and fills the Commission's communication template.

All suppliers at a glance, ranked by risk.
Country and sector risk, questionnaire answers and open actions give each supplier a priority, so you know where to follow up first and can explain why.

The supplier releases. Each customer sees only their part.
One file, many customers. The supplier decides per customer and module what is shared and can withdraw access at any time.
Supplying the EU? Your file. Your release.
For manufacturers outside the EU, starting with Türkiye: we help collect the data, calculate CBAM emissions and prepare answers in English and German. Then you share the file with every customer who invites you.
- 1Your customer invites you, or you create the file yourself.
- 2You enter sites, products, energy and questionnaire answers, with our help if you like.
- 3You release per customer what they may see.
- 4New requests take one click instead of a new spreadsheet.
What Compass is, and what it is not.
We would rather be precise about where our work ends.
Not legal advice
We structure data and processes. For a legal assessment of your case you need your legal team, law firm or customs advisor.
Not verification
Actual CBAM emissions are verified by an accredited verifier. Compass prepares the package so they can check it quickly.
Not filing for you
The authorised CBAM declarant files the declaration in the CBAM Registry. Compass supplies the data for it.
Questions.
Buyer pricing starts at €0 for up to five suppliers. Invited suppliers never pay. Pricing (German)
Does each supplier need to answer every customer separately?
No. The supplier keeps one file and releases it per customer. If a new customer asks the same questions, a release is enough.
Does Compass replace the accredited CBAM verifier?
No. When actual emissions are used instead of default values, they must be verified by an accredited verifier. Compass prepares the data and evidence.
When can I start?
We open access step by step and set up each workspace personally. After your request we reply within 24 hours on working days.

CSDDD after Omnibus I: the 2029 timeline and what suppliers will be asked
Directive (EU) 2026/470 narrowed the EU due-diligence directive to the largest companies and moved application to 26 July 2029. Why suppliers outside the EU will still feel it.
